What materials did you use? Kona Cotton fabrics, Warm and Natural Batting, a variety of threads.

What are you most proud of? I am mostly proud that I completed this! I am also proud that I learned to relax and let the quilting flow. Previous attempts at FMQ have left me with a stiff neck and shoulders. It's a remarkably relaxing activity once you learn to let go and quilt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I picked up three spools of thread in three different colors. I ended up using about 10 spools. This project is far more interesting with a variety of threads. Through most of the project, I used a bobbin thread that matched the backing, I would advise to use bobbin thread that either matches the front or that matches the top thread. The biggest frustration was the bobbin thread pulling through to the front. Ms. Peterson assured me that this is a common occurrence and not strictly due to my inexperience.

I am thrilled that you learned to let "go" and enjoy the quilting. Your work is beautiful. Congratulations!

Oh, this dragonfly is just my favourite! It's one kind of a quilt!
