I am most proud of the fact that I saw these online, learned to tat the next day and made these on the 3rd day of having learned.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You should know basic tatting. Make a few flowers and rings and chains before attempting these. Also, get a screen capture of the finished piece and mark off each ring and chain after you've completed them. It helps to keep track of where you are because some of the designers instructions aren't very good.
