This cover is made to fit a quilted purse: Simplicity pattern 2676, by Faith Van Zanten. The quilted inner purse is 7 1/2" high and 13" wide. There are 8 buttons around the inner purse, and this "sweater" has 8 points, each containing a buttonhole.
What are you most proud of?
Making a total of 5 of these, to perfect the pattern.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You need to either own this original bag, or make one. The Purse Sweater doesn't work on its own, it's a cover for the original bag.
