What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just have fun with the colors...and the shapes... You'll be surprised at the lovely outcomes!

These earrings are lovely. Are they very heavy? I have been doing earring for some ladies with very wimpy ears. Heavy does not work, but these are so nice they might suffer for beauty. Great project.

Thanks for the kind words, Beading Eye... Since a lot of wire work is involved, people with delicate ears might call it heavy ... But they aren't HEAVY heavy per-se... Since the beads are super tiny(11/0), they are not much weight at all... So, all in all, the earrings are okay... Actually, I just tried weighing them on a USPS postal weigh scale...turns out, each pair is under 10 grams..meaning, each earring is under 5 gms :) That doesn't sound too heavy..what say? :)
