What was your inspiration?
My friend saw a bag at Ballard Designs. I used the general idea to design this one. d
What are you most proud of?
Figuring out an easy way to put the zipper in. I want to write the pattern up, so I knew I needed to find a simple way to put it in. I also had some scrim-backed sew foam that I got at JoAnn Fabrics. It was perfect stabilizer for this bag. I used it in the straps, too. That's why everything stands on its own!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is for more experienced sewists. But it's a great project for someone who wants a bit of a challenge.
