What was your inspiration?
When I first found this fabric I just adored it. Making it into a simply designed bag shows off the beautiful bird design perfectly and I thought it would be the idea bag design and fabric choice for a special event.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The project is suitable for beginner level onwards (where you have completed a few projects or taken a basic sewing class). Even if you've never made a bag before, don't be put off, the instructions are very clear and simple to follow. You'll soon be hooked on bag making.
