Do I join by knitting 19 then k23 in a row? Where do I start on band? Do I go thru the ear flap kw then band kw and knit together? Also how does coming around the band make it turn to the wrong side? Come around how? My band is on circular needles to I use them or 3 other needles?

join band to ear flaps Join the band to ear flaps in a method similar to a 3-needle bind off. Pick up the sts from the ear flaps by working the two layers together going from the ear flap sts down to the band sts starting with row 1 on the very first stitch. Tip: When joining your earflaps, it will help if the flaps are placed in a way so that the loose tail is the last stitch joined. 1. joining the first ear flap k19, k21 {k23}, joining the second ear flap k19, k13 {k15} Tip: The ear flaps are not equidistant from one side to another because the ears fall a little to the back of the head. Also note that as you come around the band, the right side of your fabric is now the wrong side. 2-3. knit ribbing 4-5. (k2, p2) eyelet row 6. (k2, yo, p2tog) 7-12. (k2, p2)

I knitted to the ear flaps and I have no idea where I am suppose to attach the ear flaps. It says first row and first stich only. I don't know first row of ear flap or very first stich or band it is too general! Then it says attach like 3 needle bind off, but the directions say knit 19. Can you give me more detailed instructions so I can finish for Christmas gift. Thank you, Sandy email is:sandragrellwells@yahoo.com
