A red, black and tan collection of fabrics that involved a musical theme, Warm and Natural batting
What was your inspiration?
My grandson's new bedroom has tan musical wallpaper on one wall. When I found this fabric I thought it would add a wonderful touch to the theme that seemed to be growing. Red was his favorite color and everything just seemed to click. Later I made him curtains.
What are you most proud of?
My grandson lives in Edmonton, AB and it was so rewarding to do something for him long distance. Not only was he happy with the quilt, but his mom liked it so much she tried to talk him into giving it to her, hence another project to appease mom.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just enjoy the journey. Another quilt is another opportunity to buy fabric and make more scraps.
