What are you most proud of? I made several of these, the recipents were delighted when they received them in the mail.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just pick something as a focal point and have fun.

Beautiful work. What did you use?

Lola, this one is made from Steam A Seam 2 that I painted and ironed to very heavy stabalizer. I layered with some gold mesh fabric, sequin waste and the moon which was sut out of some fabric. It had some silver thread in it soI used meallic and holographic threads on the top. Made the front, put fabric on the back with iron on adhesive and then finished the edges adding the yarn as I stitched around the post card. The small beads are glued on.

What a really cool unique piece. I hope the recipients put these away for the future. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see them gain special value over time. Wonderful creativity and beautiful work!

You are so nice to say that, I give most of everything I make away

Absolutely stunning - I like the creativity in painting Steam A Seam - haven't tried that one yet but will....I will have to try and create a moon postcard as a project - they look like fun to do. It is beautiful and really unique which I love.

Thank you so much. I am not much of a painter, just paint light and dark, iron it down and let it tell me
