What was your inspiration?
The lace pieces I used for the collar. A friend gave me several pieces of this vintage lace from her late mother-in-law's stash. I thought it would be fun to use some of it on a little dress for my friend's grand daughter.
What are you most proud of?
The heirloom stitching I used in place of pin-tucks, or lace trim.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just let the fabric dictate how you will embellish it.
