What materials did you use? This quilt is all cotton from the Paris Fleamarket collection from Moda, and lace from my (enormous) stash.

What are you most proud of? I love how the lace is showcased.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Assemble whatever treasures you have and USE them!

Thanks, Scheri! One of the sneaky little decisions I made was to alternate the colors of the fabric behind the vertical lace sashing strips; I think that gave a little more dynamism to the whole. Hope so anyways!

This looks so pretty! How do you take your eyes off of it to move on to another project? Also, how did you back it? And did you quilt the top? I want to make one two but it looks really tough to make. Your is so pretty but daunting to make.

I used a real quilt bat (Quilter's Dream) and backed it with cotton fabric. It IS a functional quilt, after all. I quilted in the ditch along the sashing strips and between the blocks is all. Not daunting....fun!
