Thank you :) I had always wanted to knit a doily and I did. By accident! It feels much softer than your usual cotton doily. There was another lesson I learned from this. Don't expect miracles from blocking!

LOL! I find a sense of humor is essential for knitting, and you certainly have one! Thank you for this fine illustration of one of the many the pitfalls of gauge! That being said, you did a really nice job with the pattern (I've started it and bailed twice now - third time lucky!) and the result looks great.
