What materials did you use? Chanel Boucle fabric from Elliott Berman with silk dupioni lining

What are you most proud of? The self made fringe and three piece layered trim. This was made by first using 1/4" Wonder Tape to secure the faux leather trim to the petersham ribbon. I then cut boucle fabric strips 1 1/2" wide and centered the ribbon/faux leather, attaching by machine stitching along each edge. At this point the yarns were pulled from each edge of the boucle all the way to the row of machine stitching in order to create the fringe on either side. The completed trim was hand sewn to the jacket and pocket edges.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? 1. Time spent fitting your muslin properly is well spent. 2. Use the best materials possible...it truly does make a difference in the final result. 3. Follow all Lorna's instructions with no shortcuts and you will be thrilled with your jacket.

Hi I have searched for information on making the trim. I would also, like the instructions on how to make the trim, too. Your jacket is an inspiration.
