What was your inspiration?
I love the PBS series Downton Abbey. Also, a cloche-style hat works on everyone!
What are you most proud of?
The way it's possible to make a knitted hat look like it came from a milliner's shop! It is not difficult to get a very professional result.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun with colors and embellishment, but don't worry - if you want to make it just like the sample, all the info is in the pattern. This pattern is not difficult - it just has several steps and an ambitious beginner can do it
