What was your inspiration?
I really wanted to learn bead embroidery becuase I was inspired by Heidi Kumli, Sherry Serafini, Betty Stephan and inspired and encouraged by Diana Sue Sum Bucher.
What are you most proud of?
The little face I sculpted out of Polymer clay and the way the beadwork lays in even rows.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Do not get frustrated, don't be afraid to rip out stitches as y ou learn. Pay attention to the leaders in this art. Watch videos, in particular watch how the artists hands move as they work. Use small beads and get used to it. Incorporate fun things into your piece. Start out making small pieces like a pendent or a barette.
