Instructions

The pattern recommends Cascade 220 and that's exactly what I would use if I had to do it over; the yarn I chose is very soft & yummy but is a little too soft to make the wonderful pattern stand out.

Epiphany by Cascade, color 1307. 60% alpaca, 20% cashmere, 20% silk

What was your inspiration?

I saw this pattern made up at one of my favorite LYS's, Yarndogs in Los Gatos, and tracked it down.

What are you most proud of?

This pattern was fairly complicated - although it WAS easier than it looks, ha! I followed my own advice and made this scarf approximately the same length as my height. That's always a good scarf length.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This has a ton of weaving in ends, stopping & starting. Not really very mindless, you have to wrap your head around the concept. It takes about 5-6 hours to make, too. Very rewarding, but not for the meek!
