I think it might end up being a little short. I was short on fabric for some reason and ended up cutting into the hem but still ended up with too little fabric in some areas. The shortest areas falls just above my knee. I am thinking of adding a brown band at the bottom to match the waistband. About 5" of extra length.

Looking good. I also must fba the bust and shorten the midriff. Did you finish your dress?

Yeah I had to make a few alterations. When I first put it on it wouldn't even close in the back. I had to alter the bust. I added a 1/2" to the bodice length (at the bottom) and 1" on front and back at shoulders but I think I will be cutting that back to 1/2" on front and back since it was a little loose. I also shortened the midriff by 3/4" I have a rather short waist so the midriff was just too tall for my waist and wouldn't fit properly. I also moved the zipper from the back to the side after I had watched the zipper tutorial.

Check the armholes I think you will find them small.

Thank you for showing your muslin. It is very helpful to me. Did you have to make alterations? If so, would you mind sharing the process? Can't wait to see the finished garment!

I have a very, very similar fabric in my stash that I was thinking of using for this project - because it is similar to the design I had in my head when I bought the fabric. But while out shopping last week I found a gorgeous wool plaid and my idea changed straight away. Looking forward to seeing your dress!
