This was my second bag after watching the course. I used the basic information from the course, but I drew out the pattern. I used measurements 15" x 16" and drew out the curves using a bowl.Difficulty:

Cotton, lightweight canvas (lining), faux leather, zipper, metal feet, cotton rope (for handles), d-rings, clamps.
What was your inspiration?
My friend wanted a cheetah bag so I told her I'd make her one.
What are you most proud of?
Working with faux leather. It was a little more difficult than I imagined because it stretches. I'm new to sewing so I'm new to working with different fabric types. The handles were a little hard to make - in fact, I made several before I got it right.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Experiment with the fabrics you use first - make a few proto-types and see what works best for you. I think I would have used synthetic rope, instead of cotton, (for less stretch with the faux leather) in making the handles. Next time I will.
