What was your inspiration?

I found this yarn that completely matches my cat!!!! Here name is Callie: Hence, the Callie Shawl! Do I have a shawl to match my cat, or a cat to match my shawl???

What are you most proud of?

The fun color.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This pattern is really fast & easy. It took me 3 skeins. I ended up putting a safety pin through the lotus loop to hold it securely closed and I slip it over my head. For the future I might make the loop opening smaller so it stays closed itself, although the safety pin is not a problem and may work best anyway.

Oh, what fun! I have a calico too, but she's got more of the white and butterscotch to her with just a little tabby. I did a cheap-o throw once from leftover yarn that matches my Jack Russell Terrier - does that count for anything?

I'm not sure about the shawl and the cat, but you certainly have a cat to match my cat! :) Love the idea.

We had a Callie cat also. We even called her Callie. Your cat has brighter colours but so similar. She is beautiful. I love the shawl also.
