What was your inspiration?
I saw this new pattern by Tie Dye Diva - and then I found this great cotton print material with butterflies...and knew I had to make it! It has a dark green striped ruffle on the botton, the bodice is made from a green print cotton fabric, thre is a lining - which is a white and green polka dot cotton fabric - same as the sleeves. I placed the same fabric from the ruffle on the front bodice as the tuxedo ruffle and added 3 decorative buttons. the back has 2 butons with loops - in a dark green cotton fabric.
What are you most proud of?
How wonderully cute it is! AND I made it all in one day!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read over the indtructions carefully before beginning - and then decide which fabrics you want to use - and have fun!
