I found this pattern very easy to follow except for the measurements being in inches & not centimetres. I have a rotary cutter but have not used it very often & now I realize I need a craft mat which will make measuring easier.
This is quite a small bag & rather than keep it ...I know my 12 year old grand-daughter will just love it.

Materials

100% cotton in several different patterns & silk fabric. Rickrack braid in various widths & I used interfacing.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is an easy pattern but I did use rather stiff interfacing & it was needed. It is time consuming & care has to be taken adding each piece of fabric then fusing it to the interfacing. However if the seam is not quite straight it can be easily covered by rick rack braid or similar. It is certainly worth the effort & I am happy with the project!
