Hi, Thaks so much for posting your picture! Youve done a wonderful job on the Birthday Shirt :-)) He looks very pleased with it and I'm sure that there are many more shirts to come! All of your details are very well done, you should be very proud, I am :-) Thanks, Pam

Your shirt looks great. I am a bit jealous at your flat felled felled seams, they look so even!

This looks great! Just curious about how/where you got the tower placket pattern and if you still have that back sleeve seam? I made this shirt for my husband and had a hard time with that stupid narrow hem placket it calls for. Then had to do a weird double flat felled seam on the back arm seam by the placket... Just curious how you went about it!

Hi Estef I got the tower placket pattern from the Craftsy class notes. I eliminated the back sleeve seam by joining the two pattern pieces before cutting out the fabric. You can see more info on my blog post about it http://sewjeanmargaret.blogspot.com.au/2013/10/the-birthday-shirt.html
