What materials did you use? Machine Quilting Thread of colors that blended into the colors of the quilt

What are you most proud of? Completing the free motion quilting of my project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Get started using threads that are close to the fabric color. Any newbie errors will be less noticable. Give yourself permission to make mistakes. You will get better as you do this more and more.

I have this pattern also. Did you piece the big blocks? They look great! Thanks for posting this & giving me some ideas for quilting mine. Also really like the colors.

The big blocks were not pieced. They are 15 inch square as per the instructions. Others in my group have use the same pattern with amazing results. A couple of these can be viewed at http://coveredwithprayer.blogspot.com/#!/
