What is exciting or interesting to you about your photo(s)? This is my first post here and just wondering if I'm on the right track as far as intimate landscapes? Thanks for any and all feedback.

You have a nice composition of the water in the scene. Your challenge is something that we all face the camera sees the world differently than we do. You saw this scene just fine and the waterfall dominated your vision because it is an important subject. You will often hear me say that we see subjects but the camera could care less about subjects because that is a very important concept to remember. The camera sees all of that bright light at the top and right and overemphasizes it. Bright areas will always attract the viewer's eye away from the subject. In this case, the upper and right areas are filled with very choppy light that is distracting from your nice falls, a choppy light that the camera is overemphasizing.

Thank you Rob. I made some adjustments in LR and I can definitely see the difference.
