What was your inspiration?
I checked out a book on Polymer Clay in the library, & read a few sentances about using Rusting Medium on Polymer Clay...although it didn't really give instructions I love to experiment.
What are you most proud of?
The handmade rusty gears I made.My Rusting Medium (I got it at a yard sale) was old to say the least, I'd had it at least 5 years. I had to use several coats to get the affect I wanted but I don't know if it was because my product was old or not. I love love love the way it turned out!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Buy new/fresh Rusting Medium...mine was so old the base coat was almost too dry to use.
