Whatever was cheap at Spotlight. This was my first ever quilt. I had an idea for my sons bedroom, so I just got some material and kept sewing until I liked the end result.
What was your inspiration?
The beach huts in Brighton Victoria Australia
What are you most proud of?
I like the quilting on the sand as I think it really does look like sand at the beach.
I wanted the blue to look like waves which I think worked.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have a better plan to start with so you don't buy and waste so much material
