Instructions
My patterns are written in a non-traditional way to be very beginner-friendly. I use few, if any, abbreviations and give instructions in a row-by-row format in easy-to-read large type with a color picture of the finished project.Difficulty:
Category: Knitting
Type of item: Accessory
For: Women
Style: Romantic, Classic
Materials
Lightweight {fingering} angora and wool blend yarn {or similar- alpaca and wool, mohair and wool etc.} Straight needles US size 5 and a cable needle or stitch holder. Crochet hook us size F {optional}
What was your inspiration?
I found a pair of white wrist -length gloves tucked away in a drawer and the Anne Mitts are an interpretation of those lady-like vintage gloves.
What are you most proud of?
This pattern only takes about 120 yards of fiber, so you can treat yourself to something luxurious.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a great first-time cable project with the single short cable. Also, it can easily be embellished later with beads {I really like pearls} sewn on each side of the cable where it twists!
