What are you most proud of? So far, My Little Pizza Face turned out, well . . . sweet. And this one, "That Blue/Yellow Thing" I engineered with two divided interior panels, made some matching blue/yellow polymer beads. What I'm learning about HOW TO EMBRACE these combinations is not really a secret. My cure is to temper the color combinations with large doses of white. Now, on to the worst of the worst color combinations, defaming a beautiful pink with dirt brown. How could anyone combine pink and brown on purpose is beyond me. Again, I held my nose and bought pink and brown fabrics for my next uncomfortable color challenge.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do you have colors you avoid like the plague? I do. But, I'm willing to experiment. Will you try the color combination challenge with me? Or, you could magnify the experiment using "the ugliest fabric I've ever seen" challenge. It could end up beautiful, or beyond ugly. I don't know. We'll have to see--won't we?

Great bag, and the dividers are wonderful! I like blue and yellow together, but the combination really does require white to mellow the sharp contrast. The contrasting black really does add a lovely "pop" to it all. So many of my friends use tons of pink and brown or red and brown. I like what they do, but my attempts at these combinations haven't turned out all that successfully. I'm sure you'll do wonders with any fabrics. You have such a good eye for color.

Really cute bag and wonderful colors! Where did you get the pattern for the bag? Is it your own design or purchased?

Love the dividers in this little thing and the beads in matching colors are wonderful! Using white as a background color with color combinations one might not otherwise choose is a great idea. If I didn't have so many other irons in the fire, I'd love to take up your color challenge. Maybe next fall when things calm down a bit.
