I wanted to make a cute hat for a little boys, that was textured and had some fun details. This is what I cam up with and I'm loving it! The criss-cross pattern of X stitches can be made in a variety of contrast colors and the texture of the hat stitch is unique while still very soft and comfortable. Great for photography! (It of course could be made for girls as well, use girlie colors, add a flower and it will be fit for any little princess!)
