What was your inspiration?

I envisioned these fingerless gloves in the setting of an afternoon tea on a plantation lawn, or just gracing the hands of the mistress of the manor as she makes her rounds of the mansion grounds.

What are you most proud of?

The design is mirrored design for left and right mitts. Even though the stitch patterns might look complicated, actually only one of them is a 4-round repeat, and the others are mere 2-round repeats. I love it when something that is complicated looking can be made so easily.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Stitch Instructions are both charted and written. These mitts are knitted in the round starting at upper arm. There is no sewing. When you're finished, you're finished!
