What was your inspiration?
An art competition called Artfields will take place in Lake City, SC in April, 2013 and i wanted to have an entry but I don't paint or sculpt but I can sew and quilt! My first Stupendous Stitches was so much fun that i decided to use the skills that I learned to make an "artsy project" to enter in the competition. Today is the deadline for entry so i finished just in time. Now i have to wait to see if my art is among the 400 entries accepted for the competition which has a total prize package of $100,000.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the look of the final project and that I completed it by the deadline. I stayed up many nights til 2am sewing on beads!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just follow Carol Ann's instructions and have fun.
