Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?
Difficulty:
Category: Quilting
Type of item: Functional
For: Infant/Baby
Style: Cute, Whimsical, Classic
Materials
fabric, thread, batting
What was your inspiration?
My friend Teffie's baby to be, Eva. This is dead simple - 5" squares, 49 total, alternating gray squares with colored squares, which are red and green. There is some symmetry in fabrics, but not everything is symmetrical - just enough to keep it cohesive. The fabrics are predominantly Sweetwater Reunion and Jay-Cyn Spokes.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use a project like this to practice lining up seams when you are learning to quilt. They are pretty easy to match. This is also a good quilt to showcase the actual quilting - there's a lot of space for it.
