What was your inspiration?

A golfers cake - true and true! I had a request from a golfers wife to do something "On the Greens" themed so here we go! It was such a big hit, I got another rquest right after it! I had fun doing the golf bag out of cake and fondant, but I will say that adding the little tee's attached to the outer side of the bag was pretty tricky...they were so tiny...had to use the tweezers!

What are you most proud of?

I was pretty pround of the golf bag because I ended up using a "car" cake mold. I thought it had the right dips and curves that I needed to make into the bag without having to make a lot of cuts and wasting a ton of cake. So all in all I was pretty happy with the way they both came out. Wish I had put mor thought into my golf clubs but hey...next time!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Black fondant - gets everywhere! beware of what you are touching!
