teddy bear quilt
What materials did you use?
cotton flannel blocks for crazy patch patterns with white cotton for the part of the teddy beari. I hope that is understandable.
This project was a definite challenge to me. It was very large and very heavy with all the flannel blocks, etc. Whew!! Was I glad when I could put this in my finished box. I'm glad I finished it though as I learned so muchs.
I originally took a class but finished it well beyond the end of the class. I don't think it is possible to contact them as I believe they have been sold to another company. I did the quilting (nothing fancy). I found it to be a very stressful project. I guess I never learn - I have quilt ready to quilt. I need one of the teachers here to walk me through the process. I will use one of the great instructer's and I will get through it.
The picture of the quilt looks like it is 2 quilts but it is only one. Somehow I got a white seperation of the quilt. Don't know how I did it but there it is.
This is such a cute quilt and great use of the fussy cut bears
This quilt was made for my 6th grandson (all in one family. He is in the seventh grade. I see him still coddling up in it when he is cold. I found it hard to machine quilt on my machine - but I managed to get it done finally. It is all flannel so it was heavy. Thanks again for your comments. I appreciate them.
Thank you again for your helpful comments. I am always happy to learn something new and I have lots to learn in quilting. I refer to myself as a "quilter wanna' be"
