What are you most proud of?

I learned to knit this past summer. I have made several pairs of socks after a class at my LYS. This is my first attempt at a sweater. I think I am going to try several add ons from different knitters. I like the color band at the wrists that KathieCadigan made and the seed stitch button band that FrancieB knit. Thank goodness that they both included instructions!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Watch the lessons first and follow Ragga's instructions. The class is very thorough and she goes over each section, step by step. After that, jump right in! It's nice in here!

Great shot. It puts me in the mind of those vintage ceiling medallions in historic houses. Can't wait to see how your sweater turns out. Good luck!

Thank you! I have ripped it out once already. I stopped by my LYS and the owner said I didn't leave enough slack in the yarn on the back. To was pretty stiff and wouldn't budge much. I am much more careful this time around to make sure I spread all the stitches out while I knit. Knit and learn. That is why I took this class. I have only knit one yarn socks before, nothing else.
