What was your inspiration?

I first saw this on the Tatting Chic blog. Very functional with pockets for shuttles and thread. Super portable. I even use it for crocheting and other thread arts!

Tatting is another thread art craft. It can be done 2 ways: the traditional shuttle and the needle. I needle tat. There is no difference in pattern structure. Tatting patterns can be done with either shuttle or needle. It is a system of double stitches accented with picots and knots. The shuttle looks like an oval with a sewing machine bobbin inserted in it. The needle is just a long needle much like a carpet needle or darning needle. Tatting mainly but I use mine for some crocheting. Great for holding down to join threads, weave in ends and the like.
