What are you most proud of? It wears beautifully as a necklace!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is an example of advanced tatting techniques. If you want to learn how to tat, I offer a shuttle tatting course here on Craftsy!

Your work is absolutely beautiful. Is there any way to get this pattern in needle tatting?

This is beautiful...how long would it take a beginner to be able to make this necklace?

Once you've learned the very basics of tatting (double stitch, ring, chain, picot, and joins) there are a lot of pretty patterns to try. I'd suggest getting experience with simple patterns (one shuttle and ball of thread) before moving on to 2 shuttle, beaded patterns with advanced techniques like this necklace.

Thank you. My granddaughter is getting married in March; I'd love to give her this necklace. Do you do any special orders?

10/24/2014 Flag

I think your granddaughter would treasure the necklace much more if you made it. I currently have too much going on to do special orders. If this pattern seems too hard right now, how about tatting something simpler in white or white with "something blue" for the wedding?

I like your work very much. How can I get this pattern?

Thank you! The orange link under the photo goes to the pattern, it's for sale in my Craftsy pattern store as an instant download.

I'm glad you like it! By the way, the pattern is also for sale in my Etsy shop: http://yarnplayer.etsy.com
