What was your inspiration?
My mom belongs to a singing group that want tartan shawls. I created this shawl with a centre pin with the groups name embroidered in the middle.
I also made neck ties for the men. Everyone was very excited with their items
What are you most proud of?
How they turned out. It was very easy to make different sizes for various body sizes.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time. It can be tedious to do the tassles around the edges. i did it all by hand, one strand at a time, but the effect is well worth the effort.
