What are you most proud of? Using free fabric that was a moving sale gift! The top was supposed to be a "muslin" test garment, but it turned out so nicely, it is a keeper. I am proud of having the courage to move the straps and being able to fit the garment to myself, taking it in at the underarm, and matching the facing without problems.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are a C cup or larger, make the pattern with the bust dart first. I know that knits don't usually have them, but you will be delighted with the results. It takes one yard of fabric and is very fast to make. I traced off the pattern onto tracing paper to preserve all sizes of the original. I could see making these in all sizes for my friends. If you can get a friend/hubby/cooperative mailcarrier to help you with pinning the straps in the back, that is best. I could not wait so I used safety pins and had a half dozen on/offs before finding the right location. Be sure to make the straps short enough to pull the back high enough to be snug and cover your bra.
