What was your inspiration?
My brother-in-law really wanted a hobbes toy and obviously we couldn't buy one. I wanted him to have this because I knew it would make him very happy.
What are you most proud of?
This was one of the first toy patterns I wrote and I am really proud of how well it turned out and of learning how to do (and how to explain) intarsia in the round.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be daunted by the techniques used, if you are struggling, buy the tutorial or knit it flat.
