What was your inspiration?
I wanted to create a tailored looking hat to go with an opera cape/coat. So I made one for myself (& love it). I'm working on one in a deep aubergine, almost black.
What are you most proud of?
I love how smooth and tailored it looks. I've made this hat in other wools and it doesn't have the same couture look.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This was one of my first attempts at knitting a hat from the top down. So you just have to think from a different angle!
