Tablet Sleeve in Interlocking Crochet

Pattern Info

Pattern info for this project can be found here:
Reversible envelope evening bag »

Instructions

I used a pattern from Tanis GALIK's book (not the bag but the pattern used for the bag - counted the number of repeats to get a little less than the width of the tablet since finishing adds some to it) and finished the item as follows :
green side : 1 round hdc, 1 round sc
brown side : 2 rounds sc
Then putting together with one round of sc.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Functional

For: Other

Style: Outdoorsy, Classic

Materials

DROPS Cotton Light (blend of cotton/polyester micro)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Technique is really interesting. The book has some errors that are corrected on the website here : http://www.interlockingcrochet.com/the-book.html
It is a wonderful stitch repository and the directions, supported by videos on the same website, are excellent (you definitely must look at the video for the "dcib").
This creates a fully reversible item with two sides of the same pattern or different ones.
Lots of fun, just do it !

Great job! It's nice to see others taking the initiative and creating some wonderful projects with the various stitch designs. Look for more in the future. Tanis Galik
