What are you most proud of? That I was able to quilt the feather motif with only minimal marking. This was my first attempt! However, I have been doing a lot of feather doodling over the past two months.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Doodle, doodle, doodle. It is much cheaper than thread and fabric and relaxing in itself. Don't be afraid to try something you've always wanted to do.

Really nice. I think the double spine really adds to the design.

Beautifully done. I have found that doodling helps a lot before going to the machine.how did you get the feathers so perfect. Sure would like your advise, I am using a home sewing machine.

Lots of doodling during boring meetings :-). I did mark the spine and the first feather on each side which helped.
