I am totally impressed with your work. What skill! I must be doing something wrong because after a couple of hours of free-motion quilting, my shoulders ache. Repetitive stress. I have to take breaks frequently. Do you have this problem?

Thank you! For sitting and machine position and set-up I recommend watching Youtube videos by Leah Day and Patsy Thompson. Both have great tips on setting up your space for FMQ. Here is a link to the first of a four-part series by Patsy Leah Day has several videos over the last few years. Here is one It is recommended to take breaks and stretch often. I the videos will be helpful! Blessings, Dena

I just watched Patsy Johnson's video on setting up the work area. She specifically said that shoulder strain happens when the chair isn't tall enough. I've thought for awhile that my own chair is too low, so I followed her advice and ordered a doctor's swivel stool online. It's maximum ht. is 27" which would be an improvement for me. THANKS FOR THE HOT TIP!! Nancy
