This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Machine Quilting Negative Space »

Instructions

I simply had to create something with negative space, but I didn't have any truly solid fabric. However, I had a floral panel for Autumn and some brown fabric with a fairly unobtrusive crinkle print on it. Together they became this table runner. I cut out parts of the panel design and machine appliqued them to the brown section to look like falling leaves.
