Ecru crochet cotton . I bought it in Spain and it came in hanks, I no longer have those labels, since I have used up all the thread. I also made several tablelcoths
What was your inspiration?
My grandmother tried to teach me to crochet, I did not pay much attention then. She made beautiful tablecloths, tray covers, and my white gloves for my wedding. When I lived in the Far East and Spain, evrybody knitted and crochet, so I got the bug after seeing my grandmother's work through out my house. I do not use anything thinner than a # 40. It is very hard to get here in the US
What are you most proud of?
Of all the work I have made and continue to make.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The person who would attempt projects like these this must be very proficient in crochet, especially with fine thread, and be able to copy anything just by looking at a pic or someones work.
