What materials did you use? I used quilted fabric for the table cover and a heavy drapery fabric for the machine itself.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Super easy project, great for bigginers

Is there a link or directions on how you made this?

The Missouri Star Quilt has a free video on how to make this, that is where I learned how to do this. The video is on youtube. The ladies name is Jinny Doan who makes the videos.

Sorry, no links, but both covers are very simple to make. For the machine cover, I just cut a fabric to cover my machine, then added ribbon ties to the sides to tie it on the machine. The skirt, is just a large rectangle of quilted fabric that I just flipped the side up to make the pockets, then sewed about four inches apart to make the pockets.

I like your project. Did you use a batting in the sewing machine cover.

08/22/2014 Flag

No, I did not use batting in the cover, just a heavy fabric and it works well. easy to get on and off.

I also double hemmed the edges.
