What was your inspiration?
The birthday of a friend and neighbour who recently started quilting. Mothersday for the one for my mother.
What are you most proud of?
I'm one for functionalities. Embellishing is not usually my strong suit, but these work out fine. She loved it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time, enjoy the fiddling with ribbons and buttons etc. It's not hard to do, but can be very timeconsuming. Take a very long needle for the assembly stage and use a needlepuller if you have one.
