I used upcyclced t-shirts cut into "yarn".
What was your inspiration?
I don't like to waste anything. These rugs are nearly indestructible, they wash and dry nicely and are eco-friendly.
What are you most proud of?
The re-use of materials.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time. Measure twice and cut once. Collect way more t-shirts than you think you will ever use. The largest rug I have made used 22 shirts of varying sizes.
