You would be surprised. I was wary of this too, but the quilting actually enhanced the logos.

Thanks! Every since your first comment, I have been thinking about doing the quilting. I think I will try it on one of the squares and see how it works. Thanks so much for the tip.

I woud suggest you stabilize your squares and any other knit pieces with iron-on interfacing and quilt the squares

Good suggestion. The T-shirt squares are stabilized with a woven interfacing, but I did not quilt them. Primarily because I did not want to block the logos in any way.
